He is recognized as a young and middle-aged leading talent by the Ministry of Transport, an international leader in highway and transportation technology, vice-chairman of the 5G Industry Alliance, and vice-chairman of the IoT Committee of the China Communications Standards Association. Formerly, he was the Director of Tencent's Future Network Lab and Chief Scientist for Tencent's smart transportation initiatives. He proposed the pan-V2X technology framework and its practical applications, creating significant industry impact. He founded and chaired the P2P Streaming Protocol (PPSP) working group at the IETF and has published over 10 international standards through the IETF and ITU-T.
