Shangming Cai received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, China, in 2022. He is currently an Engineer and Researcher with Alibaba Cloud Computing and an active contributor to open-source LLM projects such as SGLang, Mooncake, vLLM. His main research interests include distributed machine learning training, large language models, efficient serving systems, and big data analytics.
